OCSEAN Philippines, Inc. was founded in early 2023 as a heritage organization dedicated to promoting the appreciation, preservation, and collective stewardship of our shared cultural and historical heritage. Rooted in interdisciplinary collaboration and community engagement, the organization aims to create spaces for meaningful dialogue on heritage, identity, and the human past.

The organization seeks to build a vibrant community united by a shared passion for heritage conservation and cultural understanding. It encourages academic exchange, public engagement, and constructive discussion among indigenous partners, heritage practitioners, educators, and experts from diverse fields.

Drawing on perspectives from linguistics, anthropology, archaeology, heritage science, history, and population genetics, OCSEAN Philippines supports inclusive and collaborative approaches to heritage awareness, knowledge sharing, and the preservation of cultural diversity for present and future generations.
